Using My Text
What is My Text?
Tio's My Text feature allows you to assign to a Tio key a text snippet that you frequently use.
When you open the My Text keyboard and press a My Text key, the text assigned to that key will appear in your text editor.
The default My Text keyboard looks like this:

Insert a My Text snippet

How to Edit the My Text Snippets
The My Text text snippets are stored in an editable table. This table is used to assign a text snippet to a My Text key.
To open the My Text table:
  1. Press
  2. Press
  3. Select My Text from the Tio keyboard settings menu:
The Key Label column contains the text that will appear on the My Text keyboard keys.
The Text column contains the text that will appear in the editor when you press a My Text key.
Tap either a Key Label or a Text field to begin editing it.
After editing the My Text table, press the Android back or home button to exit. Your edits are saved automatically and will now appear on the My Text keyboard.
My Text Shortcuts
  1. Shortcut to the My Text keyboard: long-press
  2. Shortcut to the My Text table: long-press any My Text key.
    For example, on the default My Text keyboard, long-press to open the My Text table.
