The Tio Tap keyboard layout.
Here's how you get from the traditional keyboard layout to Tio Tap:
First, each column of three keys is collapsed into one.
And then two of these keys are moved.
Your word is not complete until you press

(space).
Space completes the word prediction.
If your desired word does not show up, simply press

for alternatives.
Press next to cycle through alternatives.
Long-press

to open the list of available suggestions.
The suggestion list contains all suggestions for the text currently being edited.
You can long-press next before or after
space has been pressed.
To enter a punctuation mark, press one of these keys:
To type a word that is not in the dictionary,
use

or

to piece together fragments of existing words.
Use

or

to start new word predictions.
After typing a new word, you can add it to the dictionary.
To add a word to the dictionary, press

followed by

.
Many keys can be long-pressed for shortcuts.
Long-pressing lowercase and uppercase letter keys produces punctuation marks and symbols.
For example, long-pressing

produces a period.

By pressing

you can access more long-press shortcuts.

You can press

(tab) to complete words.
When an auto-complete suggestion appears, press tab if you want to accept it.
Press

to hide the Tio keyboard.
After hiding, tap the screen to make the Tio keyboard reappear.
Tip: Long-pressing

also hides the Tio keyboard.
Press

and then

to resize the Tio keyboard.
When the Resize Keyboard sliders appear, you can resize the Tio keyboard interactively.
Portrait and landscape keyboards are resized independently.
Press

to change keyboards.
The Full, Tap, Flix and Squiggle keyboards are available. The Full keyboard is convenient for
entering passwords and other form data.
Press

and select
Tap (three-row) to return to the
Tio Tap keyboard.
